McKenzie Midock is a seasoned leader with 15+ years in the nonprofit sector. Her varied experience spans: issue-advocacy, education, and the arts; organizations with regional, state, and national reach; and staff sizes from 10 to 200. This diverse background has equipped her with a strong specialization in nonprofit management, organizational strategy and effectiveness, people and culture, and operational systems and processes. Most recently, McKenzie served as Director of Operations for REPRO Rising Virginia where one of her primary responsibilities was managing the organization’s HR needs, including hiring, benefits, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. McKenzie attended Mercyhurst University on a partial music scholarship where she received a B.A. in Music as well as a minor in Social and Environmental Justice, which sparked her professional journey into the mission-driven sector. After college she moved to the DC region for an internship and has been working with area nonprofits ever since. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, son, and two pups.
